2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show

At the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show, Hague's Christmas Trees swept the field of four greenery categories in Department 23. The Porch Pot entry was awarded first place and designated Grand Champion, the Decorated Wreath entry was awarded first place and designated Reserve Champion, the Creative Unconventional entry, a centerpiece, was awarded first place and the Undecorated Wreath was awarded first place.
The Porch Pot entry used a hollow log from a shagbark hickory tree. The arrangement was made of multiple stems of winterberry with greens of Nordmann fir, juniper, yew, white pine and gold tip cypress. Accents of white birch, red twig dogwood, pine cones and white painted sticks were added.
The Creative Unconventional entry (anything made of greenery that is not a wreath) was built in floral foam using a mix of white pine, juniper, yew, gold tip cypress, and winterberry. White pine cones, white painted sticks and colorful glass balls and gold bells were added. A red candle was used in the center and the centerpiece was placed on a white birch wood disk.
The Undecorated Wreath entry was 24" in diameter and made of a mix of Nordmann fir, white pine, juniper, gold tip cypress and arborvitae.
The Decorated Wreath entry was made of the same greens as the undecorated wreath and decorated with Merry Christmas burlap ribbon bow with eleven loops with "waterfall" tails with a swallowtail cut on the end. Stems of winterberry and Douglas fir cones were added to complete the decorations.
